Inspiring Young Minds, Shaping a Sustainable Future

Importance

The work that Earth and Beyond does is critical to the progression of research today. Our time is in desperate need of researchers, innovators, and social leaders in Astronomy and Environmental Science.

Astronomy is a vital topic to be studied as we stand at the forefront of groundbreaking astronomical discoveries. As we uncover more about our universe, from distant galaxies to the possibility of life beyond Earth, the need for innovation and education in space science has never been greater.

Moreover, we are faced with an urgent climate crisis that demands both immediate action and widespread awareness. The escalating effects of climate change require us to act swiftly and collectively to protect our planet for future generations. Researchers and social leaders are the catalysts for development when governments and powerful organizations are unwilling to support these urgent causes.

Inherently, the future of research lies in the next generation of students. However, we face a clear and present problem—schools often neglect to educate students about these pivotal topics. Therefore, Earth and Beyond seeks to educate those who do not receive this education, fostering the next generation of innovators.

Core Values

Students engaged in activities with Earth and Beyond will gain foundational skills to be a successful researcher and changemaker, such as the following:

Scientific Insight - students will learn a variety of scientific skills and will gain a fundamental understanding of Astronomy and Environmental Science.

Leadership - students will learn by example how social change is inspired through science

Research & Innovation - students will learn the goals of research and innovations and how they can help achieve change, eventually contributing to current scientific missions and efforts

Collaboration - students will learn to work with others to develop ideas and projects—a fundamental skill in changemaking today.

Passion - Through hands-on learning and real-world applications, students will develop passions in Astronomy and Environmental Science, sparking curiosity and creating a lasting interest in these critical fields.

Our Team

Earth and Beyond is composed of a dedicated set of volunteers and leadership.
